HOLIDAYMAKERS were today facing an anxious wait to see if their travel plans will be wrecked after staff at BAA's six airports, including Heathrow, voted to take strike action in a row over pay.

No decision over the form or date of any strike will be taken before Monday, the workers' union Unite said yesterday.
