A pounds 27m WDA high-growth business supportive initiative has still to begin, nearly two years after the lucrative contract to run it was first advertised.

Part of the agency's entrepreneurship action plan, the programme has been given the ambitious target of supporting 450 start-up companies in Wales to grow to a turnover of pounds 1m in just two years - spread over the six years of the programme.
