Manchester city manager Sven-Goran Eriksson is backing Avram Grant (left) to successfully fill the void left by Jose Mourinho's shock departure at Chelsea. Grant, the club's director of football, and assistant manager Steve Clarke have been put in charge after the Portuguese left Stamford Bridge.
