Work on a pounds 200m three-tower waterfront apartment complex in Cardiff Bay is expected to start next year, with a view to being completed in time for the London Olympics in 2012. Developers behind the Bay Pointe scheme, Allied Developments (Europe), plan to build nearly 1,000 apartments, with the tallest tower being 36 storeys high.
The scheme's planning application is expected to be heard by Cardiff County Council early next year, which if approved would see construction starting in the second half of 2006.See the full content of this document
