AMBULANCE response times have plunged to their lowest levels in Wales, with less than half of all 999 calls reached within eight minutes, according to figures published yesterday.
Rising demand from patients, coupled with high levels of flu and staffing problems contributed to the appalling statistics, which have seen the eight-minute target hit in just 17.9% of cases in some parts of Wales. The target is 65%.See the full content of this document
