IF YOU were lucky enough to reach your 50th this year you will have received an extra birthday present, courtesy of the Chancellor Alistair Darling.
From yesterday anyone aged 50 or older will be able to increase the cash they put into an individual savings account from pounds 3,600 to pounds 5,100, while savers can keep an overall amount of pounds 10,200 instead of pounds 7,200 without being troubled by the tax man.See the full content of this document
