SIR - With reference to the article 'The Big Issues' for children's week, (The Western Mail, February 16), I was horrified to read such negative views with regard to the Welsh language and the environment, by a group of nine cocky, self-centred pupils from Llanishen High School, Cardiff. God help us if these get into politics, with their blinkered views. What ambassadors for their school!
How is Welsh 'not important in Cardiff' and the environment not important 'in the city?' How shallow is that? I'm thankful that the pupils I teach respect and value their cultural inheritance. Llanishen's students' main worry is money, money, money.See the full content of this document
