Young admits there will have to be a big improvement when the Blues open their Heineken Cup campaign at home to Edinburgh next Saturday. "It wasn't the performance we were looking for," he said.

"It was our poorest of the year and leaves a lot to be desired.

"We caused ourselves a lot of problems. Our accuracy at both set- piece time and when we had the ball wasn't what we wanted.

"Edinburgh will be rubbing their hands watching that performance.

"But we are better than that and we've got to make sure we are next week.
