Forget the tuxedo - tight swimming trunks of the style sported by the brand new Bond are set to be the next risky fashion for men. Daniel Craig emerges from the sea midway through Casino Royale, washboard six-pack on display, perfectly tanned and looking straight at you with his piercing blue eyes. But copying him will be a fashion risk that only the boldest can pull off. Whether the average Welsh male will pull off the small, retro swimming shorts is a matter for debate. After all, wearing a white bikini does not make every woman look like Ursula Andress in Dr No. Nonetheless, fashionistas are predicting a boom in sales of this style of shorts, similar to the effect Bond Girls Halle Berry and Andress had on women's swimwear sales.
The images of Craig in his unnervingly short, tight 1960s-style swimwear have been doing the rounds on email for months now, and the chance of seeing the real thing on a 60ft screen is bound to be cause for conversation.See the full content of this document
