Fancy knickers, home-made soap and even condoms are among the nightmare Christmas presents teachers have received from pupils, a poll has revealed. A survey of 1,000 teachers also showed they preferred home-made gifts or booze to tacky presents. But they were divided on the issue of chocolates and sweets, which were both the third most-desired and second most-hated present.
Most (82%) of primary and secondary teachers said they received at least one present each year, and 73% of those were bought rather than home-made.See the full content of this document
