ACLUTCH of independent and "none of the above" election campaigns have been launched in Wales in a bid to capitalise on voter anger over the expenses scandal.
Although this week's televised leaders' debate suggested the Liberal Democrats could be the main beneficiaries from the anti- politics mood, a number of candidates are hoping to displace MPs whose parliamentary allowances were under the spotlight. One innovative organisation is calling on the public to "vote blank", and place the ballot paper without a mark into the ballot box.
