Summary
SIR - In a week which has seen the cancellation of the Severn Barrage, the shelving of the defence academy at St Athan and the news that the Great Western railway Line to Swansea will not now be electrified, the Deputy First Minister might well ask "What has Wales done wrong?" this follows hard on the heels that the Passport Office in Newport is to be closed.
The fact is that the country is in a mess and whichever government was in power, public spending cuts would have to be made. The coalition government gives the impression that it means business.See the full content of this document
