Summary
Two friends spent New Year's Day driving towards Africa to raise money for cancer research. Dan John and Sam Prankerd, both 23 and from Gower, Swansea, are driving though France, Spain, Gibraltar, Morocco, the Sahara, Mauritania, Senegal and eventually Banjul, the capital of Gambia. Dan, of Sandy Lane, Gower, made a full recovery from testicular cancer as a teenager. Money raised from the trip will go to Cancer Research UK.
