Summary
We are within weeks of welcoming 10 new countries into the European Union, which will mean that six of the 25 member states will have populations smaller than Wales. As independent states, they will all, unlike Wales, have full voting rights, and will be represented at the Commission and Council of Ministers.
Next Wednesday evening, I will have the pleasure of welcoming representatives from these countries in a reception organised by Plaid Cymru and the Scottish National Party in London.See the full content of this document
