A RESEARCH centre that has pioneered the development of environmentally friendly technology has received the biggest donation from an individual in its 35-year history.
The Centre for Alternative Technology (CAT) at Machynlleth has benefited to the tune of pounds 650,000 from the sale of a house previously owed by lifelong supporter Graham Sheppard.
