The caves don't do things by halves. Anyone who has experienced them live or listened to their mini-album (or should I say mini- mini-album, scraping in a mere 23 minutes) knows how direct and compact they can be.

The band's initial beginnings consisted of guerrilla gigging in the Swansea area from venues as obscure as the local snooker hall to lead singer Dai Godwin's roof in his back garden.
