Summary
Employment prospects for students are being damaged due to a lack of progress in reforming further education, the biggest business group claimed today. The CBI complained that 'sub-standard' courses were continuing despite concerns from employers about students not being properly prepared for the world of work. Poorly-performing further education courses, or those which were simply 'coasting', needed to be improved, it argued.
