Detectives were viewing CCTV footage and interviewing witnesses last night in a bid to trace a man who stabbed a 17-year-old girl in the neck and stomach in a park during a robbery. The teenager, who was in a critical condition in hospital overnight, is believed to have been taking a short cut to work when attacked in Priory Gardens in Orpington, south-east London, at about 8.40am on Saturday.
Police said it appeared to be a robbery that had gone 'horrifically wrong' and the amount of violence her attacker used had 'shocked' them.See the full content of this document
