SIR - Now that Ireland has ratified the Lisbon Treaty, maybe not for the right reason, and Poland signed on Saturday, it is expected that the remaining country will follow suite.
It is now folly for the Conservative Party if they win the next election to consider holding a referendum on the treaty however unpalatable it is, if it has been ratified by all the other 26 countries.See the full content of this document
