A MALE voice choir has ditched the concert hall for what is probably its most unusual performance - the cavernous base of the world's biggest and most expensive scientific experiment.

Swansea's Morriston Orpheus Choir performed a concert at the site of the Geneva-based Large Hadron Collider (LHC), yesterday at the invitation of its Aberdare- born project director, Dr Lyn Evans.
