SIR - The claim that teenagers are more likely to be violent if they drink soft drinks neglected some of the most important factors that might affect their behaviour, such as family income and parenting practices. ("Fizzy soft drinks link to violent behaviour in teens", October 25).
It is ludicrous to try to draw conclusions about teenagers without taking these issues into account. Much more likely is that soft drinks are a safe and enjoyment source of refreshment and hydration - just remember to recycle the bottle.See the full content of this document
