Working parents face Welsh playscheme costs of up to pounds 1,140 during this year's six-week school holidays, it emerged last night.

Figures from campaign group the Daycare Trust showed Welsh parents can expect to pay an average of nearly two-thirds more than their Inner London counterparts for their summer childcare.
