A COUNCIL'S leader remained unrepentant today after being told his controversial remarks that many fellow councillors are "past it over 60s" are to be officially investigated by the Local Government Ombudsman.

The comments by Swansea Council's Conservative leader Rene Kinzett were reported to the ombudsman by fellow councillors Mary Jones and Wendy Fitzgerald for allegedly breaching the council's code of conduct.
