SUNBEDS will be removed from all council-run leisure centres in Wales by April.
Flintshire Council became the last local authority to decide to remove them from its leisure centres following pressure from doctors and environmental health officers. Its executive committee yesterday endorsed a recommendation to remove five sunbeds from three leisure centres in Flint, Holywell and Deeside. Flintshire Council had received a gross income of pounds 15,000 a year from the beds.See the full content of this document
