Controversy has broken out over the best methods to raise a baby after an expert's invite to a trade show was withdrawn because of the methods she employed on a television series.

Claire Verity, who charges parents pounds 1,000 a day to work as a maternity nurse, had an invitation to appear at The Baby Show in Earls Court, London, which was withdrawn after the organisers were bombarded by protests from angry mothers shocked at the views aired by her on the Channel 4 programme Bringing Up Baby.
