Seconds later an explosion ripped through the 16th Street Church, in Birmingham, Alabama, in the USA, killing four of her best friends.

The 63-year-old, now a minister at the church, said: "The bomb exploded and we tried to find our way out of the building. I looked for my two younger brothers. Other people were looking for children and others were trying to get people out of the building."
