Company directors in Wales are receiving pay rises of up to treble that of the average Welsh worker, the Institute of Directors said last night. As typical earnings continue to rise at about 3%, the nation's top executives have been gaining anything up to 10% on their annual six-figure salaries.
The news comes as a company surveying the salaries of the UK's top company directors says it has never known so many people earn so much money. Roger Young, pictured, executive director of the Institute of Directors Wales, said, 'Directors' pay in Wales has gone up somewhere between 7 and 10% and you are talking about salaries of anything between pounds 100,000 and pounds 150,000.See the full content of this document
