WAR hero and former Welsh Rugby Union president Sir Tasker Watkins is to be honoured with a major statue at the Millennium Stadium, it has been announced.
The Welsh Assembly Government will provide pounds 25,000 towards the costs of the sculpture, and artists have submitted proposed designs. Cardiff council will also provide up to pounds 25,000, and it is hoped the statue will be in place by May 2009.See the full content of this document
