SIR - It took me three hours and 45 minutes to see a doctor recently when I was suddenly taken ill. The wait was due to Gwent health service employees playing 'Pass-the-Patient'... no doctor being available.

This followed 23 minutes waiting for National Health Direct to answer my call for advice. Unfortunately no one answered, so I gave up.
