SIR - As the grandson of a victim of the Welsh Not and a small businessman with bilingual stationery I was interested in Steffan Webb's letter 'Private sector can afford the Welsh language' (The Western Mail, February 13).
I too have to oppose legislation to force the private sector to adopt a Welsh-language policy. A report in The Western Mail at the end of January headlined 'Small businesses concerned over red tape' claimed that over 50% of businesses with more than 10 employees stated that red tape was their biggest problem.See the full content of this document
