Dowie Hits Back at Jones Gamesmanship Slur

Crystal palace boss Iain Dowie has hit back at Cardiff chief Dave Jones after accusations of gamesmanship. Jones was furious at Palace's use of the 'multi-ball' system - which enables the game to restart instantly when the ball has gone out of play - after his team's 1-0 defeat at Selhurst Park on Saturday.

Jones suggested the method became less efficient after Palace took the lead and claimed one ball is enough for any Football League match. 'It's the worst system in the world to have multi-balls and just use the nearest one,' stormed Jones. 'When a home team score suddenly all the balls go missing.'
