Dragons director Martyn Hazell last night admitted the club would be unlikely to stand in the way of Declan Kidney pulling out of a move to Rodney Parade.

Kidney accepted an offer from the Gwent region to succeed new Wales boss Mike Ruddock less than three weeks ago. But Leinster's decision yesterday to sack their Australian coach Gary Ella has put the move in doubt with sources claiming they want Kidney to replace him and could complete a deal by the end of the week.
