AN artist who decided in her 40s to turn her creative talents into a second career in education has won a prestigious Wales Training Award.

Ann Goodfellow from Carmarthen returned to university at 42 to achieve a degree and eventually an MA in ceramics. She then went on to complete her post graduate certificate in education (PGCE), which enabled her to pass on her knowledge and skills.
