TRIBUTES were paid yesterday to a "extremely committed" police inspector who drowned after apparently falling overboard from a cross-Channel ferry.

The body of Inspector Neil Munro, 43, was found washed ashore in Poole Harbour along the exclusive Sandbanks peninsula in Dorset on Thursday morning.
