A KILLER who stabbed his stepfather to death when he was 16 has been jailed for pouring boiling water over a childhood friend after drunken horseplay on a rugby tour turned to violence.

Michael Rees, 19, who played for Mountain Ash, was on parole from a four-year sentence for the manslaughter of his stepfather when the attack happened at a Torquay Travel Lodge in April.
