SIR - Should alcohol be banned on airlines? I would answer a definite 'yes!', but would go further and ban the sale of alcohol at the duty free shops in departure lounges.
How soon is it going to be before a terrorist (or a lunatic) realises that if he buys a bottle of brandy just before boarding, he could smash it in the cabin creating a deadly weapon.
