THE quirky Edwardian house where Dylan Thomas was inspired to write is at last going to be opened to his fans.

The house, 5 Cwmdonkin Drive, Swansea, is being restored to the condition it was in 1914 when it was bought by the Thomas family just a few months before the poet's birth.

Now Dylan Fans Can Stay in the House Where the Poet Spent His 'Cosseted Infant Years' ; Thomas Family Home to Look As It Was in 1914

The family home will open as a self-catered themed experience, where visitors will arrive with a newspaper of their arrival date from the year 1914.

Next year, there are plans to change the house to what it looked like in the 1930s.
