PLANS to bring total high-speed broadband coverage to Wales have reached a stalemate, one of the country's leading communications company claimed last night.

TFL, a Pembrokeshire-based wireless broadband provider, warned that the country's rural businesses will struggle to compete at a national level without adequate internet coverage. The claims come a day after watchdog Ofcom published a report revealing broadband coverage in Wales lagged behind England and business experts said the country's economy would suffer if the nation did not keep up.
