UTILITY and environmental consultancy UES has made two board appointments following the finalisation of a pounds 500,000 funding package.

Randall Edwards, a former partner with Pricewaterhouse-Coopers and a former chief executive of retail and finance group Buy As You View, is the company's non-executive chairman. Mr Edwards, who runs his own strategic corporate finance consultancy and has business interests in health care, construction and leisure, will work alongside the company's board to grow the business across the UK.
