Summary
SIR - Reading the list of green champions in Wales one would think that huge progress is being made in greening people's attitudes in the country ("Green List celebrates unsung environmental champions of Wales", October 20).
Unfortunately, there remains a lot of work to be done. We still have most people driving long distances to shop in huge supermarkets that take pounds 7 out of every pounds 10 spent. They are encouraged to buy new cars by getting government cash in scrappage allowances, whereas people reliant on public transport get nothing except rising fares for a poor service.See the full content of this document
