Fewer List On Aim but Value of the Market Soars by 66% ; Admissions at Lowest Level for a Decade

ADMISSIONS to the Alternative Investment Market (Aim) dropped to their lowest level in more than a decade last year, according to research by Deloitte, the business advisory firm.

In 2009 there were just 36 new entrants to the market compared with 114 in 2008. The previous lowest was 75 in 1998.
