Teenagers could be hit by on-the-spot fines if they get drunk to celebrate their GCSE results tonight. Police have warned they have powers to fine 15 and 16-year-olds who are expected to hit the town to celebrate their exam results.
Under powers granted to police this year, officers can issue penalties on the spot to drunken youths. They can also be slapped on shopkeepers and landlords who serve minors.See the full content of this document
