Highly-rated Cardiff City tyro Aaron Ramsey signed his first professional contract yesterday - with Bluebirds boss Dave Jones predicting a bright future for the teenager. And the midfielder, who turned 17 on Boxing Day, could well be rewarded with an outing against Chasetown in the FA Cup on Saturday.

Caerphilly-born Ramsey (below) became the Bluebirds' youngest- ever player when he came on against Hull in April, taking the record previously set by one John Toshack.
