A swansea golf club has been backed to the tune of pounds 1,000 in its search for the Tiger Woodses of tomorrow. Clyne Golf Club is looking to offer pupils in local schools and 'hard to reach' youngsters the chance to try their hand at the sport.

Its efforts are now being supported by Ford UK with a pounds 1,000 donation that will pay for lessons with the club's professional for youngsters who otherwise might not have had the opportunity to start playing. It will also pay for other junior initiatives.
