One in Four Teenage Boys Leading a Life of Crime

Summary


One in four teenage boys have committed at least six serious crimes in the past year, a shocking new survey reveals. Startling levels of teen crime have been exposed in the first Crime and Justice Survey - which shows more than half of 14 to 17-year-olds broke the law last year and 42% committed a violent offence.

The survey raises fresh concerns about whether Britain is becoming a more violent society with the next generation more aggressive than the last.
