A talented 13-year-old who 'swam like a dolphin' died accidentally after an epileptic seizure in a school pool, a coroner has ruled. Autistic Hayley Williams, of Newport, Gwent, died participating in the sport that she loved, Cardiff Coroner's Court heard. The incident happened at the Ashgrove Special School for autistic children in Penarth, near Cardiff, last December.

Hayley, who was assigned a 'one-to-one' member of staff to monitor her, was pulled from the pool and taken to hospital, where she later died.
