Tourism in the county borough of Bridgend is certainly on the up. The industry is worth a staggering pounds 275m per annum to the local economy. It attracts no fewer than 3.5 million visitors and employs almost 5,000 people throughout the area.

As the industry continues to grow globally, it is now one of the fastest expanding sectors in Britain, generating almost pounds 8m per day in the Welsh economy.
