CAPTAIN Sir Norman Lloyd-Edwards has been appointed the new patron of the Welsh Music Guild.

Sir Norman, who recently retired as Lord Lieutenant of Glamorgan, takes over from renowned Welsh singer Dr Kenneth Bowen who is retiring from the position and who now becomes a vice-president of the Guild.
