Armed police confronted a gunman at a house in Cardiff yesterday. They were called to Cymmer Street, Grangetown, where witnesses described men fighting in the street with knives. A member of the public raised the alarm about 9.30am. Officers in protective jackets and helmets closed off the terraced street and confronted a man with a gun.
