HEALTH Minister Edwina Hart has stayed away from the Labour Party conference because she did not want to take away attention from Rhodri Morgan's last speech as First Minister, a leading supporter claimed yesterday. Finance Minister Andrew Davies - who last week announced he would not seek to succeed Mr Morgan and publicly declared his support for Ms Hart - said the Health Minister had honoured a long-standing commitment to attend a concert in aid of Swansea's Ty Olwen hospice at the weekend.
It is almost certain that Ms Hart will stand when Mr Morgan announces his resignation.See the full content of this document
